So, why not the ‘Top 10 Best Museums in the world’? Well, everybody has their own idea of which is the best. You could argue that there is a general consensus of which museums are the best. When researching for this article it would seem there is no definitive list. After some time searching the internet I didn’t come across two sites which agreed with each other. So, we thought we’d take a more scientific approach and base our list on visitor numbers. That is the number of people who actually step through the museums’ front door.
